2011 Infiniti M37x

The latest car trend, showing you the redesigned 2011 Infiniti M37x photos. This picture was captured last month at Pebble Beach.

The 2011 Infiniti M37x, the rear-wheel-drive M56 makes use of a 400+ horsepower 5.6-liter V8 engine, while the all-wheel-drive M37x gets the benefit of a 3.7-liter V6 that produces about 325 hp. An automatic, seven-speed transmission should be standard equipment on either car. A new screen for the navigation system is the focal point of the freshened up interior.

Mazda MX-5 Superlight Concept


Check out the latest car trend today, the latest car concept of the Mazda's MX-5 Superlight which hit the wave.

This car was designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the MX-5/Miata, the concept features a racing-inspired exterior that lacks a windscreen. Other changes include a revised front end, integrated air scoops (that serve as roll-over bars), a streamlined profile, and a Mazdaspeed dual exhaust system.

Tipping the scales at 2,195 pounds (995 kg), the MX-5 is powered by an anemic 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 126 hp. While this likely results in stellar fuel efficiency, the concept reluctantly accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.

The Iconic Abt TT RS Audi ur-Quattro

ABT Sportsline now has its own interpretation of the Iconic Abt TT RS Audi ur-Quattro which is based on the new Audi TT RS coupe and Roadster trim.

The ABT Sportsline General Manager Hans-Jürgen Abt makes a link between the legend and his company's newest creation after 50 years. And likewise, the Quattro technology and performance are in perfect harmony. The TT RS brings this magical combination back on the road."

The TT RS uses the 5-cylinder layout made famous by the ur-Quattro. What ABT has done is to take it from its standard 250kW (340hp) to 309kW (420hp) by utilising a charge air cooler and optimising the engine electronics. Its 0 - 100km/h time is 4.3 seconds and it can go all the way up to 282km/h (175mph).

ABT is confident that the combination of quattro AWD and its power package gives the compact car exceptional agility and handling abilities.

Lamborghini Hybrid in 2015

According to Stephan Winkelmann a CEO of Lamborghini, that the Germany auto industry weekly Automobilwoche that the technology could first make it to the Gallardo model and that we could see a Gallardo hybrid by 2015.

This latest car trend from Lamborghini Gallardo hybrid will come with either a V10 or V12 engine, with the car running solely on electric power at low speeds, such as in city driving. That is also saying that the system will not be the same as the current hybrid drives being experimented with in Formula One racing, which are designed to provide bursts of power at a given time.
